Invasive Species do not follow boundaries! Because of this, FVISS works closely with and partners with other Regional Invasive Species Committees from all over the province, and coordinates when necessary.

If you are a local government staff member or elected official, your local RISO can help provide regionally-specific information, advice, contacts and context for invasive species management in your area. Some RISOs also offer fee-based services for local and regional governments and other partners. We encourage you to get in touch with your local RISO to find out more.
