Behaviour Change, Partnerships, and Action on Invasive Species 

Invasive species do not respect boundaries, and it is important for all involved to work together to protect our ecosystems and communities from the impacts of invasive species. As one of the FVISS’s partners on the Provincial level, the Invasive Species Council of BC (ISCBC) has a multi-pronged approach to tackling invasive species issues. Join us to learn about some of the current projects, from education and behaviour change, to building partnerships, and supporting invasive species action. 

Presenter: Tamara Slobogean, Senior Manager, Communications, Invasive Species Council of BC (ISCBC)

Tamara Slobogean works as Senior Manager, Communications with the Invasive Species Council of BC (ISCBC). In this role she oversees Council content, engagement and events. She is a trained journalist with nearly 20 years experience in Vancouver radio and TV newsrooms. She has been with the Council since December 2021.
