We are partnering with the Fraser Valley Mountain Bikers Association (FVMBA) for an invasive species removal on Bear Mountain on June 6 as part of BC Trails Day.

This event is free and open to anyone! The goal is to remove holly and other identified invasive species from the trail BTLC on Bear Mountain to allow native species to grow and flourish. We want to bring together all trail users for this important trail work. Whether you are a hiker, trail runner, mountain biker or dog walker, come out and lend a hand and learn more about invasive species and support FVMBA's trail maintenance efforts!

Let's celebrate BC Trails Day by giving back to the trails we love.

Date: Saturday June 06 2026, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Mill Pond Parking Lot Bear Mountain 10969 Dewdney Trunk Rd Mission

What to bring: Water, gloves, shoes to hike in and clothes that can get dirty

Coffee and treats will be provided at the beginning of the day; lunch will be provided at noon.
